The warm contact is decadent and very welcome. Galahad settles into it readily, one arm coming out to slip around the angel's neck and shoulders to bring them together. The angel's beautiful and devoted words only add to the sweetness of the moment, even as the realization that Galahad won't be able to feel the angel's presence in turn without praying to him beforehand sits sadly in the knight's chest.

"I only wish I had something I could give you that would keep me with you always, too." He has his prized sword, but he doesn't know if the angel would feel right accepting it-- or indeed if it would be anything approaching the right size to be wielded as a sword. Galahad's gaze drops ruefully to his free hand at the thought. There, his gaze catches on the modest signet ring he wears that bears his family's crest. A spark of sudden inspiration and excitement flares to life at the sight. He doesn't know if it'll be the right size for it to be worn properly, but it does give the knight an idea.

"I want you to have this." His smile returns, soft and filled with love, as he slips the signet ring from his finger and presses it into the palm of one of the angel's hands. "It was once my father's, and is worn by all the men of my family when they come of age. It bears the lions, the cross, and the boughs of my house's crest. When I was a boy I wore it on a chain around my neck." If it doesn't fit properly as a ring, perhaps the angel could wear it that way, too. "This way some part of me will always be with you even when I can't see you." It's both a comforting and a pleasant thought, that Beelzebub might carry this small token with him wherever he might go.
