Lucifer takes the knife and finishes the cutting but he's listening intently to the other angel.
"Does he know how to cook?" Lucifer has other questions but they may bring up strife. This seems a safer angle to approach things from.
He has noticed the way they interact and for Lucifer this is a normal interaction with his angels. He was Father Lucifer to many of them. However, this is still a Balthazar and he's constantly reminding himself it is the wrong one. It adds a strangeness to everything. Instead of lingering on it he pays attention to browning the chicken.
