Even if they decide this is a bad idea, there's no obligation for them to go through with it or wait a little longer. His fingers trace a small, gentle, and pensive circle on Beelzebub's side, the contact helping him ground himself in his thoughts rather than high-minded fantasy of what a bonding could be like if it went perfectly.
"That's why I wanted to talk about it with you. We don't have to-- jump in right away if it might be too dangerous." A thoughtful beat. "But I love you, and if it's something that ended up working out in an ideal way... it could be a way for us to be closer without tripping over my vows, or worrying about your influence."
At that question, Galahad tips his head slightly. "What do you mean by 'feeling for what's there'?"
