Meeting With Beelzebub (Open IC Meetings)
(This is a general thread for meeting up with Beelzebub in person as opposed to calling him.)
Beelzebub, after awhile, becomes a creature of habit. Perhaps it is the warrior training, or the mind of a tactician with set ways of thinking. Whatever the reason for his habits it made him easy to find. The three most common places a bar, a training field, or his forge.
His choice of bars is always darker, not seedy but places with low light and loud from voices instead of music. It suited his temperament and hatred for loud noises and bright lights. He was also jovial, more likely to be found engaged in a drinking game or a loud conversation than other bar activities like dancing. Good liquor was a must but it fell in below atmosphere and company. Why worry when you could manifest your own. Though even when he altered the drinks he always made sure to buy and keep the place in business. Despite his love of company, a back to the wall and a high chair or stool to accommodate wings was always his preferred placement. More comfortable where he could keep an eye on the door.
The second most common place was at the forge or his training circle. A weapons maker and armorer by trade, he liked to work and perfect his craft. Even after billions of years there were still imperfections or new designs to work out. Though, even above that he liked to mentor man and beast for combat. Some days it was a warhorse he was running through the paces of battle, or a dog training to watch its warriors back and disarm threats. Just as often his sparring companions were others seeking a lesson or foolish enough to come for a challenge. He didn't care either way. Always prepared to wield wooden training swords or steel in a bout. Betting and audiences were not to be discouraged. Where was the fun in friendly confrontation if there was no one to see, and no fun for the spectators?
The forge at his home is an easy place to find the angel. As the weapon and armor smith for embattled angels, he's never short on work. Set at the edge of the property, the forge is open to anyone when the angel is at work either with metal or leather in the nearby tannery building. He will complete fair commissions for weapons, armor, repairs, and leather items. The Forge is one of the places he feels comfortable and happy. It is also one of the rare places where you will find Beelzebub sober.

Amelia appreciates the practicality of both corsets, but the far more armor-oriented set isn't what she's look for right now. When she's ready for a full set of armor for herself again? There's a very good chance she'll be back to ask for something similar for herself. The armor she still has from her world is very well made, but a second, slightly updated set would be a good thing to have on hand.
"They're both beautiful," she notes with a smile. Carefully, she reaches out to trace the air in front of each set, her fingers straying close but never actually touching the leather. "Rich, natural browns would work well with most of my wardrobe, and my tailor can work with anything new I bring him." Alex might not be thrilled by "yet another corset", but he'll do his job well once he gets his sass out.
She tilts her head slightly, thinking more carefully about what she's looking for with her commission. "I feel both of these designs cover too much for me. I move around much like Harley does when I'm in battle, and anything that covers my torso in its entirety would restrict me too much, I think." She steps a little closer and traces an outline in front of one of the sets of leathers. "Something more like this, I think? It's closer to what I have now and would be easier for me to break in."

She gets a hearty laugh from him at the ideas she has. "You're thinking like a human is making these. I'm not constrained the same way, though it takes a little more work I can make this armor leather pliable as pleather without losing integrity."
"I am war. I have incredible powers over the creation of the items used in war." He nods to her though if she isn't interested in something so full. "I have a possible option if Harley doesn't mind her holiday present a few weeks early this year."

Beelzebub's explanation changes a lot of her ideas very quickly. The corner of her lips tug into a grin as she reconsiders the two options in front of her. "I like the look of this one very much," she says, pointing to the leather in question. "I would prefer different detailing on the final product, but that can be worked out later. The style of this is something I'd gladly wear and would be very easy for me use with everything I already own." Though she may need matching belts for it, depending on the final color of the corset. That's a thought for later when the corset is finished, though, so she pushes it aside for now.
Again Harley earns a laugh from the rogue. "I would never stand in the way of giving Harley presents, and I'm curious to know what you're gifting her." Amelia is all for seeing her friend spoiled by those who care for her.

He smiles at Harley's reaction but addresses Amelia first. "It can be tailored differently too. This is a style for when I go to Camelot with Galahad. It's one of the more comfortable designs I've tried making."
"I have two." He smiles at Harley before going to a shelf and pulling down two bundles wrapped in sparkly golden fabric. "This is the one I think Amelia may be interested in." It's the smaller of the two bundles. "This one, I guess is from Azazael and I, since he is teaching me some new dying and painting techniques for leather. We worked on it together." He offers both bundles to Harley. In general, Beelzebub loved making things for others. It was a natural side effect of being the angel that kept all the others suited for war.

Harley herself is very touch centric. And adapts herself accordingly to respect Amelia, when she is around her best friend. It is one small way she shows her love for the other woman.
"Ohhhhh sparkly and golden." Harley lets her fingers play with the first fabric. And then she directs her attention to the second. "Both of these are lovely, Beezlebub. You know me so well."

It's a delight to watch Harley enjoy her gifts. "They're going to look wonderful on you," Amelia notes with a smile. She looks on fondly as the other woman looks the gifts over with both her hands and eyes. "I can't wait to see what they look like on you."
As for the style of the corset, the rogue nods in answer to the unspoken question. "I do prefer a style like that," she agrees. "Though I would never dare take Harley's colors, of course. I much prefer darker natural or jewel-toned colors." They're both easier to hide in the shadows in and accent her pale skin and dark hair very well.
